All diets have short time effect. Then you will finish your diet a weight will back and even more.
Diana, if you really want to loss weight forever you must change the way of your life.
When I was losing my weight I did next:
I ate just a half of my usual portion during 6 month(exept fruit and liquid).I ate fruit even more then usual. It was hard 1-2 months. Size of my stomach became less. I lost 6~7 kg. Now I'm 75 kg and it good weight for my 182 centimetre.
It's a comfort weight for me.
Now a little portion is enough for me and I can eat even a cake. My weight is stable last 4 years.

Hello, Helen!
I think you can change your life, at first you have to begin it, it will not hard for you, just begin.
As you know 1 kg is 2,2 lbs. approximately.

I have found that the best diet is to be in peace and with a calmed spirit and mind so that you wont crave those replacementes of love like chocolate and carbs or price you with a big amount of food and alcohol. Start loving and accepting your self.

I have downloaded the program, I have an underactive thyroid and I take Depakote which both makes you gain weight.. What is the best way for me to go.. My doctor has me on a counting calories diet, he wants me to stay at 1200 to 1400 a day. I am only 5'4 so I look like a ballon..
Any info would be helpful.. I have never weighed over 140..

Every day morning exercises is the best way not only lose weight but feel oneself better. Jumping rope make our legs stronger and ofcourse heart. Avoid overload
Do it regular and gradually.

I agree, there is NO quick fix! It is a life style change. I have begun eating smaller portions and try to exercise 4-5 days a week. In the past 6 months I have lost over 15 lbs. I still treat myself to sweets and junk food from time to time but it is important to use portion control and try not to eat junk food daily. I try to leave my junk food eating for the weekend. Kind of like my treat for being healthy all week. Good luck to all!

Also a helpful hint..always consult your Doctor or a dietition for the best advice on healthy eating habbits and a good exercise plan. They can also give you an idea of aprox how much weight you could be loosing IF you stick to it.

try to count your calorie intake more thoroughly, write down everything you eat, even snacks and sweet water...

The researchers explained that reducing carbohydrate intake for two days per week will produce better long term health results than reducing carbohydrate intake for every day of the week.
